Dr.Asha Nair

Having completed her MD in Paediatrics, and DCH from Kerala, Dr Asha Nair initially worked at the Childs Trust Hospital, Chennai and has also worked as Assistant Professor in Paediatric Cardiology in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. She then moved on to the United Kingdom where she did her MRCP. She became a Consultant Paediatrician in 2003 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2012. Dr Asha is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and holds a post-graduate certificate in Clinical Education from Newcastle University. She has been an Examiner with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK for the past decade and has examined for MRCPCH in the UK and in Dubai. From 2018 to 2020, Dr Asha worked at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, Dubai as Consultant Paediatrician. She was also Adjunct Associate Professor of Paediatrics at Mohammed Bin Rashid University, Dubai.
